C&C Music factoryAlthough the Atlanta Hawks are much improved this season, they have been for the last few years (ok a little more) a team that is used to losing. But what happened, to another Atlanta pro-basketball team is a little ridiculous.

The Atlanta Krunk of the CBA (Continental Basketball Association) lost to the East Kentucky Miners on Sunday by the score of 194-115.

East Kentucky surpassed records set previously in many other professional basketball leagues, including the NBA. The Detroit Pistons own the NBA scoring record, but used three overtimes to post 186 points in a win over the Denver Nuggets on December 13, 1983. Detroit won 186-184. Also the 79-point margin of victory broke the Cleveland Cavaliers record when they defeated the Miami Heat 148-80 on December 17, 1991 (68 points).

In case you don’t know… and you probably don’t, the Krunk are led by head coach and former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket and NBA star Kenny Anderson and their majority owner is Frederick ‘Freedom’ Williams, who is best known as the former lead singer of the C and C Music Factory, the band that brought us hits such as ‘Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” and “Things that make you go, hmmmmmm.”
