2005 NL Rookie of the Year - top 3 finalists that season and this season stats

National League (winner - Ryan Howard)

Howard in 2008: 20 HR in 68 RBI (average is terrible, but great power numbers)

2nd place was Willy Taveras

Taveras in 2008: .252 average but 36 stolen bases (the Braves as a team have 28)

3rd place is Jeff Francoeur (we know his stats… .239 avg, 8 hr and 41 rbi)

Even 4th place that season was Garrett Atkins whose (.298 avg, 10 hr and 42 rbi is better).
