Last month, I wrote an article giving the whereabouts about some former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Georgia Bulldogs and how they were doing in the majors right now. Well, this past weekend I got to see former Dawg Jeff Keppinger play for the Cincinnati Reds so it made me think of doing an update… so here goes…

Former Georgia Bulldogs

• Jason Varitek (Red Sox) .267 avg, 3 hr, 11 rbi, 7 runs scored
• Jay Payton (Orioles) .254 avg, 2 hr, 5 rbi, 3 sb
• Nomar Garciaparra (Dodgers) .226 avg, 1 hr, 5 rbi, 6 runs scored
