Fox Sports just released their MLB power rankings after week 1 and they placed the Braves at #9. Now, I’m not terribly upset at being in the #9 slot, but what bugs me is that the New York Mets were placed in the #8 slot. I’m a bit confused.
The only thing that kept the Mets from being swept in a three game series this past weekend is a Friday night rain out. The Braves handled the Mets and therfore, on this day, should be ranked higher.
